The principle

This site collects nothing about you that it does not need in order to work. There are no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics, and your data is neither sold nor shared with anyone.

Messages you send us

When you write to us through the form we keep what you wrote: the name, the email address, the subject and the message text, together with the page's language and the time it was sent. The purpose is one thing: reading the message and replying to it. Messages are seen only by a small number of authorised people at the union, and a message is deleted on its sender's request or once there is no longer any need for it.

If you choose "Send via WhatsApp", your browser opens a WhatsApp chat from your own account with your message ready to send; what happens after that is governed by WhatsApp's policy, not ours.

Protection against automated submissions

The form is protected by technical measures that tell people apart from automated software. Those measures collect no additional data about you, and we keep no trace of them.

Certificate verification pages

Certificate details — the name, the type, the body, the period and the issue date — are published deliberately: that is what it means for a certificate to be verifiable by QR code. For each certificate a total count of how often its page has been opened is kept; that number is tied to no visitor's identity or address and is not used to track anyone.

Anyone who wants their certificate's details corrected, or the certificate withdrawn, can reach us through the channels below.

Cookies

On the visitor's side the site uses a single cookie, which remembers the language you pick for a year so you are not returned to another one on every visit. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Where the data is kept

Data is kept with reputable hosting providers and processed under their data-protection policies. It is passed to no other party and used for nothing other than the purpose it was collected for.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, for it to be corrected, or for it to be deleted, over WhatsApp, by email at info@yod.org.tr, or through the contact form, and we will answer within a reasonable time. Form messages are deleted on request.
